Hulu released a first look trailer at Welcome to Chippendales on Tuesday, a true crime series, starring Kumail Nanjiani as the real-life Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an South Asian entrepreneur who started the all male strip club, Chippendales.
They synopsis reads: “A sprawling true-crime saga, Welcome to Chippendales tells the outrageous story of Somen 'Steve' Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire — and let nothing stand in his way in the process,”
The cast also includes Murray Bartlett as Banerjee's ruthless and charismatic business partner, and Annaleigh Ashford, Juliette Lewis, Quentin Plair, Robin de Jesus, Andrew Rannells, Nicola Peltz and Dan Stevens.
