The new Super Mario Bros movie had Los Angeles premiere on April 1st at the Regal LA Live Theater. The all star cast showed up to the red carpet dressed in bright colors that represented their characters. Anya Taylor-Joy posed pretty in pink as Chris Pratt wore a maroon suit with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Seth Rogan, Charlie Day, and Jack Black lined up on the red carpet ahead of their voice acting debuts as the characters Donkey Kong, Luigi and Bowser.

Many reviewers praised the film's visual style, which captures the colorful aesthetic of the games perfectly. The action sequences were also singled out as highlights, with one critic calling them "visually dazzling".
