We know Paris Hilton for having a taste for the finer things in life. It’s no surprise that the heiress/DJ has purchased the new BMW i8 2020 Roadster as her new toy which she has had “Paris-ized” according to her latest YouTube vlog.
In the video, Hilton introduces the car in its basic white painted version wearing a leather sleeved jacket with “Boss Babe” bedazzled on the back and black racing gloves. She describes the car as "lit but needs to add her own “PH Style” touch, making the car one-of-kind with a custom wrap of her design.
Hilton claims her inspiration for the customized car wrap comes from all her past Burning Man costumes. In the video, she compares several glittered and rainbow skirts (with tags still on them) to lie against the car as example wrap ideas. The final wrap selection came down to a white iridescent rainbow that changes color in the sun. Hilton refers to her new ride as her #Slivmobile.
The 2020 BMW i8 Roadster is a limited-edition gas-electric hybrid sports car that accelerates from 0 to 100 in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 155 MPH. The i8 was one of the first mass-produced vehicles to pair an electric powertrain to a gas engine in the name of performance. The car is flavored with some of the same design components as the McLaren such as its butterfly style doors which require over a foot of clearance to open, making parking a challenge. The Roadster is powered by 2 transmissions, one for the 2-speed electric motor and the other for the 6-speed gas motor. The price tag for the BMW i8 Roadster starts at $165,000.
