Nick Jonas is officially trading in his Jonas Brothers mic for a star-studded jumpsuit and a whole lot of face paint. The 31-year-old multi-hyphenate heartthrob is set to portray rock legend Paul Stanley in Netflix’s highly anticipated KISS biopic Shout It Out Loud — and insiders say he’s not just playing the part, he’s belting out every note.

Directed by Joachim Rønning (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil), the film dives deep into the early days of KISS and the band’s meteoric rise from New York club gigs to rock 'n' roll superstardom. Jonas will embody Stanley’s glam-meets-guts persona, while Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi is reportedly in talks to play Gene Simmons, the group’s famously fire-breathing bassist.

Yes, this cast is that hot.

Sources close to the production say Nick has been undergoing intense vocal training to nail Stanley’s iconic wail — think skin-tight falsetto meets pure rock power. And in a major move that’s already impressing fans, he’ll be performing all of Stanley’s vocals himself, rather than lip-syncing to old tracks. “Nick wants this to feel real,” a music insider spilled. “He’s treating it like a stadium tour.”

The film is being produced with full blessing (and involvement) from KISS co-founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. According to Netflix, Shout It Out Loud won’t just be a love letter to the band’s fame and excess — it’ll tell the deeper story of friendship, ambition, and turning a couple of Jewish kids from Queens into larger-than-life rock gods.

🎸 Fun fact: KISS holds the record for the most gold albums by any American band in history — that’s 30 gold albums, more than Aerosmith or Bon Jovi. Not bad for a band that started with face paint and a dream.

As for Jonas, this role could mark a bold new chapter in his post-Disney evolution. He’s no stranger to acting (Kingdom, Jumanji, Goat), but this will be his first time fronting a major musical biopic. And with filming set to begin this summer, we’re already counting down the days ‘til Nick struts on screen in full Starchild glory.

The casting of Nick Jonas as Paul Stanley in the upcoming KISS biopic is already generating major buzz across Hollywood and rock fandoms alike.

No release date has been announced yet, but let’s just say this one’s gonna rock your streaming queue when it drops.
