Lisa Vanderpump joined Ariana Madix and Lala Kent at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.
Vanderpump and Madix were guests of the Daily Mail and Kent arrived as a guest of the Los Angeles Times. The BRAVO’s Vanderpump Rules reality tv members were alongside high profile guests, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Brittney Griner, Julia Fox, and Naomi Biden.
Madix’s red carpet appearance arrives on the heels of the cheating scandal coined “Scandoval” when it was revealed that Madix’s longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her for months with fellow Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss.
Host Roy Wood Jr took a comedic jab at the reality tv star’s relationship woes, saying host Roy Wood Jr couldn’t resist a gag about one of the biggest reality TV stories of 2023.
‘The untouchable Tucker Carlson is out of a job… but to Tucker’s staff, I want you to know that I know what you’re feeling. I work at The Daily Show, so I too have been blindsided by the sudden departure of the host of a fake-news-program. Tucker got caught up. Got caught up like that dude from Vanderpump Rules,’ the Daily Show comedian joked.
The WHCA dinner is held by the White House Correspondents’ Association to raise money for journalism scholarships.
Lala Kent shared an Instagram story on her account stating:
"I promise I'll stop posting soon. But this was a surreal experience that I was very grateful to be part of. Thank you, LA Times."
