Amid coronavirus concerns, late night talk show hosts, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert are keeping fans laughing by posting daily mini monologues from their homes.
On Tuesday (March 17) Jimmy Kimmel's #minilogue, the comedian jokes about being at home with his kids, President Trump’s orders on food hoarding, Tom Brady’s departure from the New England Patriots, along with tips on how to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at home and a hilarious old news clip of a leprechaun sighting in Mobile, Alabama.
“My blood type right now is Disney Positive, or Disney Plus, whatever they call it. We’ve watched Frozen 2 more times than the animators who drew it have watched Frozen 2. I’m actually hiding in my office right now from my children,” Kimmel said.
Jimmy then commented on how Donald Trump is handling all of this: “Yesterday our president Donald Trump gave himself a 10 out of 10 for the way he’s handled this situation,” he said. “Gave himself a 10. Which, incidentally, is the same amount of testing kits that are currently available in the United States right now.”
Kimmel closed out the video stating, “If you want to be of service, you can join me. Every day, I’m going to make a donation to a different worthwhile cause. Today that cause is, No Kid Hungry. You can visit them on the web. They make sure that kids don’t go hungry and with schools being closed, that’s especially important right now. So please consider giving to them. Really, the only way we are going to get through this is by sticking together while of course remaining at a CDC approved distance of at least 6ft apart.”
