Harry Styles did not disappoint fans and maybe surprised some viewers with his comedic performance and acting talent as host and musical guest on last night’s Saturday Night Live. Harry started the show off by shouting out his former band “One Direction” calling them his brothers’ but jokingly forgets former bandmates name, Zayn Malik, during the infamous ‘SNL’ Monologue each host traditionally performs.

The 25-year-old singer wore bright yellow trousers and an oversized blazer, along with Keith Richards level jewelry and his signature painted nails.

Later in the evening, Harry performed “Lights Up,” which is the lead single from his upcoming second studio album Fine Line, due out December 13, 2019. Styles performed his first number in a low cut black sequined jumpsuit. ‘Lights Up’ has a mature soulful sound, backed by piano, horns, and 3 silky smooth back-up singers.

Style's collaborated with a Brooklyn based band Brasstracks for the SNL Performance. The trumpet and drummer duo thanked Styles in this heartwarming tweet:

For the second number, Harry sparked things up with the his single "Watermelon Sugar," wearing a more colorful magenta suit.

Last night’s "Saturday Night Live" was the #2 show of the night, according to Yahoo Entertainment. To kick off his Love On Tour 2020, Styles will perform at a one-night show at The Forum in Los Angeles to debut his new music. Will Ferrell will host SNL next week for the fifth time, with musical guest King Princess.
