Happy Birthday Tony Bennett! Celeb Friends Honor the Singer’s 94th Birthday

Legendary showman and music icon Tony Bennett turns 94 today with some special birthday shout outs from his very famous friends. Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Billy Joel, and Stevie Wonder are just a few of the mega celebrities that paid tribute to him on Monday.

At age of 94, there is no slowing down Tony Bennett. His vast library of work spans over six decades with 24 songs in the Top 40, including; ‘I Wanna Be Around’, ‘The Good Life’, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ‘The Way You Look Tonight’, ‘Who Can I Turn To (When Nobody Needs Me)?’, and his signature song, ‘I Left My Heart In San Francisco’ which garnered his first two of 19 Grammy Awards.
His many Grammy Awards include collaborative wins with other chart-topping artists with Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and k.d. lang.
Bennett performed one of his favorite ballads "Fly Me to the Moon" for fans on his 94th birthday.
Stevie Wonder took to Instagram to thank Bennet for being on this planet and sharing his own story of singing with him at a young age amid the civil rights movement. Wonder then says “God bless you in this day” followed by his own special rendition of Tony’s “The Best is Yet to Come.”
Sting also paid tribute with an acoustic guitar cover of Bennett’s classic -- “The Way You Look Tonight”
Famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli performed Happy Birthday from his yacht.
Sir Elton John posted a touching tribute for Bennett's Birthday in front of a weird green screen while sending him all his love and thanking him for spreading so much love and joy.
Billy Joel chimed in on the birthday wishes with this tweet.
Elvis Costello paid tribute to Bennett by saying: "Happy Birthday, @itstonybennettYou have made the world a better place and we will sit like this again, one day. You are the best and #thebestisyettocome. With much affection and respect. Elvis Costello"
The list goes on to include more star friend tributes from; Barbra Streisand, Model -Brooke Shields, Lisa Loeb, Diana Krall, Gloria Estefan, and Juanes.
