Grimes Experiences ‘Technical Difficulties’ During Coachella 2024 Set - Crowd Not Stoked About It
Singer-songwriter Grimes’ DJ set at the Sahara Stage at Coachella 2024 was a major flop due to technical issues. The artist's set started to fail when she re-started “Music 4 Machines” numerous times. “This is a difficult thing to explain but we’re having a major technical error,” Grimes said, “don’t judge me for being bad a calculating things.”
Grimes explained the song was playing at double the tempo speed and that she was trying to do real time math instead. To further add to the shit show that is Coachella, Grimes played unreleased songs that had been recorded just few days prior to her failed festival appearance.
As if the whole production could not get more annoying, she yelled out to the audience “actually my fault” referring to her disaster set. “I’m trying to think. I’m not good enough at math for this shit,” she said.
By the grace of God the set was cut short ending with “Genesis.”
