French social media influencer and reality TV actress from Real Girlfriends in Paris on BRAVO, Margaux Lignel revealed she is engaged to musician Arnaud Bonet from Bon Entendeur via Instagram over the weekend.
Lignel and Bonet chose the countryside of Corsica, France's Isle of Beauty, the Domaine de Murtoli for their engagement spot. The hotel draws A-list celebrities who seek luxury isolation in the countryside, featuring a picturesque pool surrounded by vineyards. Among the guests are famous personalities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé, who celebrated her birthday at the location last year.
Only in 1993, did Paul Canarelli start converting some of the shepherd's huts on the farm into accommodations for guests after inheriting the farm from his grandfather. The Domaine de Murtoli, now a hotel, has gained a reputation as one of the most charming hotels in Europe, admired for its tranquil atmosphere and the incomparable natural beauty of its surroundings.
They lodge in one of the 20 transformed shepherds' huts spread across the 6,100-acre estate, nestled amidst protected forests, secluded beach coves, and farmland managed by local farmers.
The estate raises up to 160 cows and 460 sheep, tend to 200 chickens and 250 beehives, produce five varieties of cheese, oversee olive groves for olive oil sold at the hotel boutique, manage vineyards, and cultivate vegetable gardens across approximately 2,000 acres. Additionally, they craft their own gin using aromatic herbs from the Corsican maquis, which guests can enjoy at Murtoli's bar and restaurants.
The farm's produce is utilized at either La Table de la Ferme, Murtoli's Michelin-starred restaurant, or La Grotte, an enchanting arrangement of candle-lit tables inside a rock cave on the property. For a more personalized experience, guests can choose to have a private chef prepare and serve local delicacies in their villas by the rock pool, in their dining room, or on the beach.
Congrats to both!
