The original Trolls movie in 2017 generated $120.8 million in the first two weeks. “Trolls World Tour” is the first major Hollywood movie to forgo its scheduled theatrical release and reposition itself to be exclusively released on-demand for at-home audiences amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In the first three weeks of digital release, ‘Trolls’ sequel has proven to be more profitable for Universal Pictures than the original Trolls movie during its first five months in theaters.

Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick will reprise their roles as Branch and Poppy in Trolls World Tour.

The title is currently available to rent on demand for $19.99.
