Concert Review: Flume’s Celebrity Packed Ten-Year Anniversary Show at Kia Forum Los Angeles

Grammy-winning electronic music heavyweight Flume kicked off his tour at the Kia Forum, Los Angeles on Saturday night, performing for thousands of fans at the “FLUME: 10 years of Flume" concert. Special guests included Kucka, Chet Faker, Beck, Tove lo, and more!

The show covered material from the past ten`` years from his latest release, Arrived Anxious, Left Bored features 10 tracks produced between 2015 and 2021, and a follow up to his previously released mixtape Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan, back in Feburary. The crowd sang along and danced in a fog filled area to classics “Go Insane and Tennis Court.”

“This and the first Things Don’t…drop are a bunch of songs that I always loved that didn’t fit on a previous record,” Flume says about the two-part surprise release. “It’s cathartic, it feels really nice to clean the slate and make way for what’s next.”

Additionally, Flume recently won the APRA Song Of The Year Award for “Say Nothing” featuring MAY-A alongside songwriter Sarah Aarons, marking Flume’s first APRA win in this category. Arrived Anxious, Left Bored follows Flume’s initial offering of previously unreleased material, Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan, released to critical acclaim in February featuring tracks with Injury Reserve, Panda Bear and Isabella Manfred.
