Burger King will offer plant based "Impossible Burgers" for Kids Meals and Value Menu

November 12, 2019

Burger King has announced that the fast-food giant will offer their super popular Impossible Burger to include Impossible versions of its; Burger King Whopper Jr. to their value menu and their kids' meals. Burger King will be the first fast-food chain to feature vegan meat for kids.

They set the menu activation to take place this week across 180 locations.

The Impossible Whopper was first introduced this summer in restaurants across the US. The burger has since become “one of the most successful product launches in brand history,” in a recent Burger King press release.

The Impossible Burger for kids' meals is a breath of fresh air for parents who want an alternative option to beef and chicken and half the calories of other menu items. Adding the Impossible burger to the BK Value Meal makes the burger more accessible to consumers.

Other chains have jumped on the plant-based trend with Wendy’s and McDonald’s testing meat-free burgers in select parts of the country.
